On the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Directorate General of Central Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters has released a pamphlet titled “Think Before Wasting.”

The pamphlet, prepared by the Sports Committee at the Directorate General of Central Operations, under the supervision of Captain Nasser Abdullah Al Saadi and ‘media-man’ Abdullah Najm Al Rabie, urges the public to avoid wasting money on unnecessary items during the Holy Month. The pamphlet included advice related to Iftar and a nutritional program necessary to maintain a healthy body.

The pamphlet stressed on being charitable and avoiding wasting excessive food especially during Ramadan by giving it away to those who are in need. It also contains photos that illustrate charity deeds during Ramadan, along with advice related to sports. The pamphlet also included a number of guidelines on Suhoor meals, encouraging the public to avoid fat, salt and spices when preparing their last meal at night, and to drink sufficient amounts of water and other liquids.

The pamphlet has been distributed to the General Departments at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.
