His Excellency Major General Mohammad Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Commander-in-chief of Abu Dhabi police, met Sunday with His Excellency Major General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai police, and his entourage.
During the meeting at the headquarters of the Abu Dhabi police GHQ, he discussed the reinforcement of the joint cooperation between the two sides in the fields of policing and security, and access to the development projects witnessed by ADP within the system of security and safety and the spread of reassurance in the community.
Maj. Gen. Al-Marri praised the achievements of ADP in providing the best police services, noting the cooperation of police leadership within the scope of integration of police work in the country, in a manner that strengthens efforts to combat crime.
Maj. Gen. Al-Rumaithi stressed the importance of joint coordination between the two sides in policing areas, and follow-up on security issues, in a way that contributes to prevention and response to crime, using modern techniques and methods, noting the importance of exchanging experiences and investing in the development of police work.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Major General Maktoum Ali Sharifi, director general of Abu Dhabi police, sector managers of Abu Dhabi police, Dubai police Brigadier Kamel Butti Al Suwaidi, director of the General Department of Operations and Brigadier Khalid Ali Shahel, director of the General Department of Community Delight, and directors of a number of police departments.
The Abu Dhabi police GHQ, together with the Dubai Police GHQ, signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate in various policing areas, enhance indicators and improve performance to obtain the best results in providing police services.
