His Highness Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s representative in the Western Region stressed the keen interest of H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, God bless him, and the follow-up of H.H General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, to provide and develop services and make sure they reach the public in a timely manner and with the required quality to meet their needs from the necessary services at the various facilities.
This announcement was made by His Highness following his tour at the Western Region Police Directorate in Al Tarif, accompanied by His Excellence Acting Undersecretary of the Court of the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region Sultan Bin Khalfan Al Rumaithi, H.E Mosbah Mubarak Al Marar, Acting Director General of the Western Region Municipality, Mohamed Hamad Bin Azzan Al Mazrouei is the Director General of the Western Region Development Council, as well as a number of senior officials.
His Highness urged the Directorate’s members to carry out their tasks in an accurate and quick manner, in order to facilitate and simplify the procedures and ensure the speedy processing of public’s transactions. He also called on them to alleviate the clients’ trouble and enhance the quality of performance to elevate the tasks to the highest levels and provide distinguished services to the Nationals and residents of the Western region alike. Moreover, His Highness stressed the need to continuously follow-up these services.
His Highness also commended the performance and dedication of Abu Dhabi Police members and called on them to exert more efforts to provide the required facilities to the reviewers.
For his part, Abu Dhabi Police Director General of Police Operations Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali expressed his pride and delight as well as the officers and non-commissioned officers and individuals working at the Western region Police Directorate with the visit of His Highness, Ruler’s representative in the Western Region. He assured that this visit reflects the solicitude and attention of our higher leadership to the police force, and his role in promoting the process of security and stability in society.
He also reiterated the keenness to implement the leadership’s directives, to elevate the levels of police work and ensure that Abu Dhabi remains a community enjoying safety and security by providing high-quality police services to the nationals, residents and visitors.
Major General Al Awadhi pointed out to Abu Dhabi Police’s solicitude to implement the directives aimed to achieve efficient communication between the police and the community, to promote increased confidence and spread peace of mind. These directives also aim to prevent crime and establish positive social ties between the two parties, to listen to the public’s proposals and complaints and work to resolve them immediately in coordination with the concerned authorities.
Upon his arrival at the Western region Police Directorate’s headquarters in Al tarif, H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan was received by Abu Dhabi Police Director General of Police Operations Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali and Colonel Ojail Ali Abdullah Al Junaibi, acting Director of the western Region Police Directorate, alongside a number of senior officers.
After shaking hands with the senior officials and officers, the official ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by recitation of verses from the Koran. His Highness and the audience listened to a presentation about the manpower at the Police Force and the number of citizens in the various departments.
