The Center of Search and Security Studies at Abu Dhabi Police organized a symposium on "Communication and Incidents Management" in the Conference Room of the Department of Criminal Evidence on Wednesday. Three papers were presented by senior UK police officers.

The session was chaired by Brigadier (Dr.) Saeed Saif Al Alawi, Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Coordination Committee. The symposium aimed at acquainting the presence with the latest technologies in use by UK Police in the Communication and Control areas.

The first paper "Implementation of Change at the National Level" was presented by Ayan Dison, Deputy Director in UK Police. He reviewed his national role in developing communication strategy. The second paper "Implementation of Change Locally and Performance Maintenance". It was presented by Bolin Smith, Director of Communications at Nottinghamshire Police. She reviewed the changes she had made in her team. The results were spectacular, in terms of reducing the response time.

The third paper "Delivering Policing Response Based on Community Needs". It was presented by Craig Lois. She talked about how to use technology to promote the services required by call takers and patrols senders.
