Under the auspices of Lieutenant General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) in collaboration with the Marriage Fund, next Sunday will organize the third mass wedding ceremony for its staff members across the UAE at the Armed Forces Officers Club in Abu Dhabi.
To this end, the Public Relations Department organized the day before yesterday a lecture titled, “marriage is natural practice” delivered by Dr. Mahmoud Al Samadi, religious preacher at the Ministry of Interior.
In attendance were Brigadier Mohammed Saleh Baddah, acting director of public relations department at the Ministry of Interior, a number of police officers, brides, and crowd of police personnel and civilian staff members.
The lecturer clarified that marriage is a natural way to achieving pleasure and tranquility. It is a deterrent against falling in sin and evil, which is why Islam urged the youth to get married, he further said.
You should form stable and coherent families bearing the meanings of integrity and good citizenship, he said addressing the brides.
He also spoke about the good national initiatives, referring to the role of the Marriage Fund and other national institutions in encouraging marriages between UAE nationals.
