The Abu Dhabi Police explored ways to enhance cooperation in the areas of mutual interest with a delegation from the Belarus Ministry of Interior.
Brigadier General Dr. Saif Bu Dhufaira Al Ameri, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs in Abu Dhabi Police met in his Office recently, Anatoly Darshinta, Head of the Belarusian Ministry of Interior’s delegation. Brigadier General Al Ameri stressed the commitment of the Abu Dhabi Police and its openness to all global police aspects to support cooperation and exchange experiences. This cooperation aims to achieve the goals as per the best practices, enhance security and stability, and pave the way towards further development and progress,” indicated Al Ameri.
Brigadier General Al Ameri said that cooperation and coordination between the two parties cover devices, technical and scientific equipment, as well as various training areas.
During the meeting, the two parties exchanged commemorative shields, in the presence of Colonel Hamid Al Afrit, Head of the Weapons and Explosives Department.
The delegation paid a visit to the Information Center of the Weapons and the Explosives Department, where they reviewed the Center’s leading experience at the level of the region. Furthermore, First Lt. Mattar Rashid Al Shamesi, Director of the Center briefed the delegation on the Center’s work mechanism and its achievements.
