The punitive and correctional institution, Abu Dhabi Police, in collaboration with the Blood Bank at the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi, organized a blood donation campaign for all employees of the institution, with the aim of ensuring communication between the police employees and the of civil society institutions.
It also consolidates aspects of social solidarity to save lives of thousands of patients who are in desperate need for blood transfusion.
The Department had consistently organized blood donation campaigns to promote social responsibility towards the community, and help the needy patients and hospitals to undergo all surgeries, said Colonel Mohammed Matar Saif Al Zaabi, Director of Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department.
On the other hand, Department has already organized an exhibition at the Global Village in Dubai. It was opened by the Director an attended by a number of officers.
