The Police College celebrated the graduation of 61 officers from the various sectors of the Ministry of Interior and police general headquarters across the country after completing three courses. The courses, which were organized by the Police Officers Training Institute in Al Ittihad Hall at the Police College included the ‘Strategic Planning’ course; the ‘Boosting the Sense of Security Skills' course and the   ‘Kaizen Strategy  for continuous improvement’ course.

The ceremony was attended by Colonel Saif Al Ketbi, Police College Director, in addition to a number of heads of departments, chiefs of sections, along with a number of officers from the Police College and the Training Institute.

Colonel Al Ketbi stressed the Ministry of Interior's keenness to develop the competencies of its human cadre according to the training plan that keeps abreast of the current developments. “This plan embodies the police leadership's instructions to significantly support the training plan, and boost the skills of officers,” he added.

Adding further, Colonel Al Ketbi said, "These courses aim at enhancing the knowledge, potentials and skills of participants about the basic concepts of management and strategic planning at the police institutions. They are also designed to enhance the capabilities of participants and to acquaint them with the Sense of Security, concepts, characteristics and means of development, in addition to the Kaizen Strategy for continuous improvement and its applications in police work.”

Towards the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Ketbi distributed certificates to the graduates.
