MoI celebrates the wedding of 105 of its personnel
MoI celebrated yesterday, Monday the wedding of 105 of its personnel held at the Armed Forces mess in collaboration with the Marriage Fund.
The grooms appreciated the patronage of Lt. General Hh Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the ceremony. The ceremony was witnessed by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Shaafar, MoI Undersecretary. They affirmed the uniqueness of the experience in the Region which indicates social awareness development.
The ceremony was also attended by Major General (S) Khalifa Harib Al Kheeli, MoI Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services, Major general Humaid Al Hadeedi, Director General of Sharjah Police, Major General Mattar Salim bin Miseid Al Niyadi, MoI Director general of Electronic services and telecommunications, Major General Abdul Aziz Maktoum Al Shareefi, Director general of Preventive Security and Federal Investigation, Abdullah bin Aqaeda Al Miheiri and Amir Abdullah Al Faheem members of the Marriage Fund Board of Directors, a number of officers, grooms' parents and guests.
Al Shaafar said on the occasion "The mass wedding organized by MoI in collaboration with the marriage Fund reflects giving spirit and community partnership concepts of MoI in response to the directives of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime Minister and Minister of Interior".
"Mass weddings have proved that they are the ideal method to confront the high costs of marriage, to curb their negative effects and to rationalize expenditure to start a stable and reassured family. They need high degree of solidarity to encourage nationals' weddings. They are a noble idea to enhance love and cooperation among community members. MoI for the second consecutive year sponsor mass weddings for its personnel to confirm real partnership with different community institutions", added Al Shaafar.
Abdullah bin Aqaeda Al Miheiri, member of the Marriage Fund Board of Directors said "The patronage of the mass wedding by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, affirms that he Follows in the footsteps of late, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (May his soul rest in eternal peace) and supports the guidance of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan (God bless him) and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai (God protect him), to facilitate and assist the young men who want to get married and start stable families. The project also confirms humanitarian approach and civilized giving in all areas of social work".
