A total number of 434 recruits underwent 22 training courses at the Community Police Institute and Police Sciences in Abu Dhabi Police during this past November 2012. The trainees received extensive training in many areas of police and security work.
First Lieutenant Ali Saeed Al Rashedi, Head of Execution, stated that the Institute organized a various number of training courses during last November. The courses included security training to develop a sense of security, and conflicts resolution, as well as courses in security anticipation. The Institute also organized a series of courses tackling the planning and implementation of awareness campaigns, guidance and skills to deal with community members, teenagers and community diversity; as well as social responsibility.
He pointed out that the courses received great attention among trainees, particularly the courses on local community protection; effective partnership; skills development; as well as the special course on population survey and the effective partnership cycle. These courses stem from the Institute’s keenness to tackle issues and concerns of the UAE society, who keeps pace with the cultural and security developments worldwide.
