Major General Staff Obeid Al Hiri Salem Kutbi, Deputy Commander-General of the Abu Dhabi Police honored 7 retired officers, covered by the of ministerial decrees 2011, in a ceremony held at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
Attended the ceremony were Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services, Brigadier General Ali Obeid Al Darmaki, General Director of, Personnel, and Colonel Musabbah Khamis Al Marar, Acting Director General of Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police, and a number of officers and invitees.
Abu Dhabi Police firmly believes in the value and importance of human resources in achieving the goals, aspirations and strategic plans, according to the modern vision that keeps pace with developments, said Al Kutbi.
Referring to the role of retired officers, he said retirement is not the end, but it is the start of a new phase in the service of the country.
He also praised the efforts of retired officers and their dedication.
At the end of the ceremony, Major General Kutbi offered certificates of appreciation and gifts to the retired officers.
