Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Community Police Department, celebrated the International Day of the Elderly, and distributed gifts to them during the festival it has lately organized at the Abu Dhabi-based heritage village .
Burhan Ahmed, a religious preacher at cultural guidance branch, community police delivered a lecture in which he spoke about the rights of fathers and old persons on their sons. He also focused on their contributions to the community.

Police women toured the sections of the heritage village and get acquainted with the traditional handcrafts and ancient hand-made industries.
Al Mansouri said our country will not forget the elderly who spend their lives in the service of the nation and in raising its sons in the most proper ways, indicating that the country is providing all means of care and services for them.
