The Sports Activities Department in the General Headquarters for the Strategy and Performance Development in the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ organized "The 8th Ramadan Gun Shooting Tournament for Officers" with the participation of a number of officers from Police GHQ across the country.
Colonel Mohammed Hamid Dalmooj el Zahiri, Director General of the GHQ, said that the establishment of this tournament is a result of the implementation of the Abu Dhabi Police strategy to raise the fitness and skill level of police members to positively reflect on task execution, duties, and humanitarian assignments of the police.
The results came as follows: Captain Ahmed Jaber of Ras Al Khaimah Police GHQ came in first place; Captain Ahmed Abdallah of the Directorate of Police Academies in Abu Dhabi Police GHQ was second; and from the same Directorate, Lieutenant Mohammed Sultan won third place.
Major Mohammed Abid el Fallahi, Head of the Sports Activities Department was present at the tournament alongside Major Ibrahim el Matrouchi, Head of the Shooting Department in the Abu Dhabi Police.
