During a recent visit to the New York Police Department (NYPD) in the USA, a delegation of the Leadership Development and Creativity Center at the General Secretariat of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s Office reviewed international best practices on leadership development.
Major Dr. Omar Ibrahim Al Ali, Chief of the Competency Assessment Section at the center and head of the delegation, was accompanied by Major Fahed Ismail Al Hosani, Chief of the Creativity Sponsorship Section. They discussed cooperation and expertise exchange with the NYPD’s head of the development unit, Dr. Robert Gonzalez.
The delegation reviewed NYPD programs in leadership, skills, and capacity development for NYPD members. The delegation also reviewed the processes of NYPD courses and programs.
At the end of the visit, the delegation presented a memorial shield to the NYPD.
