The Air Wing Department at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ executed 3 humanitarian missions. An air ambulance helicopter from the department transferred a 22 year old Emirati citizen, who was injured in a traffic accident in Oman, from Ibri Hospital to Tawam Hispital, in Al Ain.
In the second mission, the air ambulance helicopter transferred a 26 year old Emirati, who suffered from fractured ribs when his car rolled over in Umm Al Oush, to Tawam Hospital. The medical team on board provided necessary medical care to the injured during the transfer.
The air ambulance helicopter, on its third mission, rescued a 22 year old Emirati, whose car was stuck in the desert near Zayed City in the Western Region. The operation room had received a notification call about a man stuck in the desert in that area, and managed to obtain all necessary information to locate him. After a one hour search operation, the helicopter was able to find the location, provide help to the lost man and check on his health.
