A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Police College recently visited the headquarters of the Federal National Council in Abu Dhabi. The delegation toured the Council and got acquainted with the UAE parliamentary life, and its particular features which take into consideration the nature of society.
The delegation was also briefed on the competencies and duties of the Federal National Council, the roles it plays, both internally and externally, as well as its relation with the Executive Authority (The Cabinet) and the cooperation and collaboration among them in discussing draft-laws, general issues and parliamentary matters. The delegation also attended part of the ninth session of the 15th legislative chapter of the Council, and met during the visit, with His Excellency, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Abdul Rahman Mohammed bin Nasser Al Owais.
The Police College delegation included 14 nominated graduate students from Batch 23 as well as a number of officers and supervisors.
