The children of Abu Dhabi Police Nursery at the Clubs and Sports Activities Department recently visited the Technical Rescue and Rapid Intervention Section at the Civil Defense Department in Mohamed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi.
Captain Maryam Jassem Ali Said, Head of Abu Dhabi Police Nursery, stated that the visit is a part of the educational and entertainment programs organized by the nursery.
During the visit, the children got acquainted with the Civil Defense equipment which includes rapid intervention cars and ambulances in addition to other advanced equipment.
They were also given theoretical lessons on Civil Defense, Rapid Intervention and Rescue in a manner that suits their ages and intellectual capacity. At the end of the visit, the Civil Defense Administration presented them with memorial gifts.
It is worth noting that Abu Dhabi Police Nursery is committed to implement programs that focus on integrating education with the practical training and entertainment.
