The Central Operations Room at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters received approximately 16,000 notifications calls on the emergency line 999 during the Eid Al-Adha holidays.
Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Suleiman Al Maskari, Director of Operations Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police said that the Police Operations handled all the notification calls via the emergency line 999 by taking into consideration the standard of speed necessary to mobilize police resources in terms of receiving the notification and its quick arrival to the accident location.
He stressed that the Operations Directorate provides services to the public according to the highest standards and quality requirements, which is considered to be a significant part of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters’ policy.
The Central Operations room is equipped with the latest tools and technologies and employs a cadre of qualified and non-commissioned officers and individuals.
