The Air Wing Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters rescued an Asian, who was injured in a traffic accident that took place in the Western Region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The air ambulance helicopter, which includes a team of paramedics, transferred the critically-injured person (25-years old) from Al Ruwais Hospital in the Western Region to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain for treatment.
The Air Wing Department had received a call from the operations room about the condition of the injured, who suffered several fractures in the skull, neck, and shoulder. The air ambulance helicopter, equipped with medical equipment and medical staff, was immediately dispatched upon receipt of the report and quickly transferred him to Tawam Hospital ensuring the stability of his medical condition during the transfer in addition to preparing him for further treatment at the hospital.
