The Police shooting, swimming and karate teams’ delegation left the UAE on Saturday, en route to Kuwait to take part in the competitions of the inaugural GCC Police Games, which will be held in Kuwait from 8 till 14 of November.

Brigadier Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Police Sports Association heads the police teams delegation that is participating in the games, accompanied by Colonel Khalid Ali Shuhail, deputy chairman, and Colonel Aref Ali Al Rais, General Secretary of the Police Sports Association Board.

Brigadier Al Dhaheri emphasized the preparedness of the UAE teams, and said that they are ready to rise to the occasion and to fulfill the responsibility entrusted to them, in order to reflect a good image of the police sports in UAE. He also pointed out that the teams have prepared well for these games, which may culminate in new achievements. He also pointed out that the aim of this participation is to achieve a new milestone for the UAE in this important sports event and to raise the flag of the UAE high, because “our heroes have all the necessary components to attain success,” he said.

In conclusion, Brigadier Al Dhaheri expressed his hope to see the police teams achieve the highest levels, to exert maximum efforts to compete and win and to pursue further giving in gratitude for the country. He also urged them to be the best ambassadors for the generous country.
