Sheikh Saif approves 200 bed trauma center
His Highness Lt.Gen.Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Interior approved the design of national trauma rehabilitation center after viewing the project presented by the ad hoc committee set up for the purpose.
Chairman of the committee Nasser Khalifa Al Bedour briefed Sheikh Saif on the draft design, mechanism of implementation, technical infrastructure and strategic objectives.
Sheikh Saif said the center is part of a boarder initiative by Abu Dhabi Police to build a series of humanitarian projects using the revenue generated by auctioning of the distinguished number plates.
The Minister instructed the committee to benefit from experiences of international expertise in the field to train and rehabilitate the victims of road accidents. Such initiatives symbolizes as the best example of humanitarian services followed according to the noble goals set by the leadership of the country, he added.
