Police College celebrated the graduation of the second specialized promotion course at the Al Etihad auditorium, under the patronage of the Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Interior.
The ceremony was attended by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Saif Ali Al Kutbi, director general of police college and directors and heads of departments and sections at the police college.
Al Sha’far praised the huge support the Ministry of Interior receives from the higher leadership, assuring that modernization concepts and continuous training have become among the most important components of the mentality and the well established traditions of the Ministry of Interior.
For his part, Colonel Al Kutbi was appreciative of the level of the graduates and their efforts during the past period.
A total of 131 have joined the second specialized training course during 3/10/2010- 29/6/2011 and got promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, according to Lt Colonel Dr. Ahmed Al Khuzaimi, director of Police Officers Training Institute.
The graduates received several diplomas on investigation, traffic and patrols, police operations and human resources.
At the end of the ceremony, Lt General Al Sha’far accompanied with Colonel Al Kutbi and Lt Colonel Al Khuzaimi, presented certificates to the graduates and gifts to the top achievers.
