One dead and 23 injured in the capital in a week

One Person died and another 23 were injured in 15 various accidents in Abu Dhabi during the first week of this month.
Captain Saif Al Daraei, head of investigation and fines section at the Abu Dhabi traffic and patrols department, said among the victims nine were Asians, including the diseased; five were UAE Nationals and other seven Arab expats
Most of the accidents were caused due to ignorance on the part of the motorists, not keeping a safe distance between vehicles, over speeding, jumping traffic signals and entering the roads without checking for the incoming vehicles were the main causes of the accident said Al Daraei .
