In its periodic meeting, the Media and Public Relations Coordination Committee at the Ministry of Interior discussed plans to establish a mechanism to organize quarterly outreach lectures at the Ministry level. The topics of the proposed lectures will be chosen according to the directives and strategy of the Ministry, and implemented by the Police General Headquarters at the countrywide level.
The meeting was chaired by Colonel Dr. Jassem Khalil Mirza, Head of the Security Awareness Department at Dubai Police, in his office at the Abu Dhabi Police’s General headquarters. Present at the meeting were committee members from the various police general headquarters across the country.
A number of topics listed on the agenda were tackled during the meeting. Attendees also tackled the policy set forth to organize and take part in events, as well as plans to standardize this policy across the Ministry of Interior’s sector.
Towards the end of the meeting, the Committee urged members to interact with each other, so as to achieve the objectives of the Committee, which are consistent with the Ministry’s policy.
