Italian Police Commander visits Abu Dhabi Police
An Italian Police delegation, led by the Commander of the Carabinieri Force, Lt. General Gianfrancesco Siazzu, visited here in the morning of today various departments of the Abu Dhabi Police.
Italian Ambassador, Paolo Dionisi, accompanied the delegation on the tour, which took them also to the Operations Room of the Central Operations Department where they were received by the Director of the Department, Lt. Colonel Ali Al Dhahiri, who briefed them about the activities at his department.
Meanwhile, Lt. General Siazzu and his accompanying delegation have left the UAE later in the morning ending a three-day visit to the UAE.
He was seen off on departure at the Al Bateen Military Airport by the Director General of the Installations Protection Department of the Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters, Major General Mohammed Juma Al Darmaki, Italian Ambassador, Paolo Dionisi and a number of senior officers from the Interior Ministry and Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters.
The Italian delegation expressed profound gratitude to Interior Ministry and Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters' officials for the warm reception accorded them during their stay in the UAE
