Wife's killer arrested by Abu Dhabi Police
Abu Dhabi Police in coordination with the Interpol succeeded in nabbing the wife's killer from Zayed City at the Western Region within few hours after leaving UAE to an Arab country.
The brother of the victim identified as A. F. (32 years, Arab national) lodged a complaint at the Western Region Police Directorate after finding the dead body of his sister in her bed room.
Police force moved immediately to the scene of the crime. Investigations with the brother revealed differences between the wife and her husband, who is a physical education teacher. Police found out that the husband left the country in the morning of the crime, after he had stabbed his wife several times on her neck and belly with a two-edged knife. He put his fingers in her throat to stop her from crying. She bit his fingers in resistance to his attempt. He left for an Arab country through a neighboring GCC State. He had intentions to kill her brother, who was sleeping in the adjacent room, if he came to her help, it is learned.
The instant coordination with the Public Prosecutor and the Interpol resulted in catching the suspect from the airport of another Arab country and foiling his escape attempt. He admitted to his crime and the police found the traces of her teeth on his index and middle fingers. Legal has been taken to bring him to justice.

According to him the Police Force is keen to delivering the best community services, and has the ability to deal with every domestic or personal problem in high standards. He urged the community members to be aware of the role of community support in solving all kinds of differences and other social issues.
