Abu Dhabi Police Excellence Award
A delegation from the Western region Municipality visited Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters. The aim of the visit was to acquaint themselves with ADP GHQ experiences in getting four categories of Abu Dhabi Award for Government Performance Excellence.
The delegation was received by Brigadier Jasim Al Marzouqi, Deputy Director General of Human Resources, Deputy Head of Quality and Excellence Team. The delegation was headed by Mr. Khalifa Salim Al Mansouri, Executive Manager of Cities and their Outskirts Services Sector at Zayed City.
Brigadier Al Marzouqi stated that the directives of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, were obvious from the outset. They have been implemented according to systematic steps and effective work mechanisms. Al Marzouqi extended to the visiting delegation the greetings of HE Major General Mohammad bin Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Director General of human Resources, Acting Director General of Policing Operations, Head of Quality and Excellence Team at Abu Dhabi Police.
Al Mansouri lauded ADP interest in overall development, and in achieving the vision of our higher leadership. The launch of Abu Dhabi Emirate’s Strategic Plan expresses the joint cooperation between all public sectors and organizations in the Emirate.
1st Lt. Rashid Abdullah Al Dosari, Director of Quality and Excellence Secretariat Branch made a presentation in Human Resources Directorate Conference Room on the three categories of the award and the Organizational Structure of the Team, its tasks and duties. The presentation included information gathering, self-assessment, training, spreading of excellence culture, implementation plan, time frames for implementation, workshops, and methods of work and assignment of tasks.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Ali Obeid Al; Darmaki, Director of Personnel Affairs, Lt. Colonel Dr. Nawal Al Katheeri, Major Feisal Al Shuaibi, Director of Strategy and Performance Development and a number of police officers.
