The Mobile Dental Care Unit affiliated to the Medical Services Department at Abu Dhabi Police continued its rounds to check the teeth of a wide social category across different public locations and neighborhoods in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This step comes under the ‘Hope Plant’ initiative launched by Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to promote the Abu Dhabi Police’s social responsibility towards the public.
For the third round, the Mobile Dental Care Unit was dispatched to Al Bateen Council in Abu Dhabi. H.E Jaber Mohammed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, lauded this noble humanitarian initiative launched by the Abu Dhabi Police. “On behalf of the Crown Prince’s Court and in the name of Al Bateen residents, we express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to his Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior for this generous gesture. We also commend the considerable efforts exerted by Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, which have benefitted the people of the region, wishing them further success in serving our dear homeland,” said Al Suwaidi.
Major Dr. Tariq Abdullah Al Junaibi, Chief of the Health Education Section at the Medical Services Department of the Abu Dhabi Police revealed that the Mobile Dental Care Unit will carry out an intensive and comprehensive program next week. This program will cover all private schools within the Abu Dhabi Educational Zone. The Unit will also make field visits to various public facilities and shopping centers to identify dental conditions of Abu Dhabi residents. This dental survey will be instrumental to develop elaborate dental care programs and plans to better serve the public.
Al Bateen Council visitors praised this unprecedented initiative, which “reflects the higher leadership’s keenness to provide high-quality health care for citizens and residents,” said Ahmed Khadem Rashid Al Muhairi (Retired Employee). Al Muhairi added that such purposeful and generous initiatives are uncommon and unmatched, even in the most urbanized countries in the world. “This urges citizens to show loyalty to the homeland and its generous rulers,” he noted.
Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Dha'en Al Muhairi (an employee) expressed his sincere thanks to the higher leadership: “From now on, I will smile with confidence thanks to the leader of the nation, and to the Minister of Interior and his brothers, sons of Zayed, who have demonstrated to the whole world that a good tree yields good fruits.” Al Muhairi also indicated that Sheikh Zayed's sons are extremely considerate, not only to fundamental issues, but even to the smallest detail related to the comfort of citizens and residents alike. This proves their commitment and affection for the people of this country. “Every single initiative serves the best interests of the citizens and the nation; for this reason, people would willingly make sacrifices for the country and its loyal leadership,” concluded Al Muhairi.
Employee Mohammed Adam Abdul Qader agrees, commending the Mobile Care Unit initiative: “This breakthrough initiative adds to the myriad of creative initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Interior. It is part of its tireless quest to achieve solidarity and social cohesion between the people of the country and the leadership; and between officials and all segments of society. The higher leadership, represented by H.H the Minister Interior, has succeeded over a short period of time, in changing the stereotypical image of the police institution’s role into a service-oriented role with a view to provide security, stability and a decent life to all citizens and residents,” note
