Study on ADP pensioners participating in national events and other occasions
The Center of Research and Security Studies at ADP GHQ has issued a new study under the title "Activation of Pensioners Future Role". The study has been prepared by Noorah Jumaa Saleh Al Saadi, a researcher.
The study dealt with the future plan which the Ministry of Interior and ADP GHQ implements, regarding allowing ADP pensioners to participate in all ADP national and religious functions, such as Police College Graduation Ceremonies, Ramadan Group Meal and providing them with "999" magazine.
The study has also focused on giving social and psychological support to pensioners who need it and developing legislations that provide them a decent life. The study has presented different definitions to retirement concept. Moreover the study has referred to the role of Military Pensioners Foundation in raising cultural, health, economic and social levels of the retired personnel.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Interior on the directives of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, is paying great attention to pensioners through many activities and programmers.
