Saaed educates different
communities on black points through caricature
Saaed Company for Traffic Systems has prepared 50 thousand caricatured traffic guidance booklets in five languages including Arabic, English, Urdu, Tagalog and Persian with an aim to educate the public on traffic black point offences through interesting caricatured booklets.
According to Colonel (Engineer) Hussain Ahmed Al Harthi, Chairman of Saaed Board of Directors, they aim at presenting traffic safety rules in a simple way so as to reach as much large number as possible including children and adults.
A working team from the company led by Miriam Mohammad Al Hamadi, Director of Public Relations and Customer Service, has been tasked to visit universities, schools, public utility societies and civil society institutions, in order to launch joint programmes and educate the public on traffic safety, and to cooperate with authorities concerned in this regard. As a beginning 50,000 booklets will be distributed – 25,000 for kids and 25,000 for adults would be distributed.
The 152-page Booklets targeting children are considered one of the best guiding booklets in respect of traffic safety. It combines both theory and practice and of high quality.
The paintings show different types of traffic mistakes. They are designed to cater all age categories and to answer their inquiries and induce traffic culture and awareness during early years of childhood.
