Ministry of Interior opens First Excellence Forum
Major General Khalifa Harib Al Kheli, assistant undersecretary for resources and support services witnessed today the opening of the First Excellence Forum in the Sheikh Khalifa Program for Government Excellence.
The two-day event which is organized by the Ministry of Interior at the Police Officers Club in Abu Dhabi was witnessed by Major General Dr. Abdul Qudoos Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, director general of Total Quality at Dubai Police, Hessa Eissa, coordinator of Sheikh Khalifa Program for Government Excellence at Cabinet Affairs Ministry, Ali Saeed Al Kendi, head of Appeal Court, Salim Al Hosani, from the Ministry of Justice, Talal Al Tunaiji, from Foreign Ministry and a number of officials at Federal ministries and institutions and senior police officers.
Dr Abdul Qudoos welcomed the participants and indicated that quality in police and security work has become basic prerequisite in the world.
We are proud of this excellence”, said Abdul Qudoos referring to the many awards Abu Dhabi Police and Dubai Police have won in Sheikh Khalifa Program for Government Excellence and Dubai Award for Excellent Government Performance.
He concluded his address by wishing all success to the works of the forum, expressing his hope that future quality projects in the region will achieve their visions and goals.
For his part, Brigadier Ali Abdul Aziz bin Darwish, director general of Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior reviewed the experience and outcomes of the ministry in the field of human resources.
Also Colonel Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, director of Strategy and Performance Development at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ delivered a presentation on the best practices for performance management, indicators, benchmarking and awareness program for promotion of culture of performance.
