Lecture on MoI customers service charter
In a lecture organized by the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development at the Secretariat- General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minster and Ministry of Interior, Lit Colonel Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi, director of the Customer Service Department affirmed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to deliver the best services to the members of the public.
The strategic programs at the Ministry of Interior and police agencies focus on enhancing services to gain customers satisfaction, said Al Kaabi.
He briefed the audience about the customer service chart at the Ministry of Interior and police headquarters, in presence of directors and deputy directors of Abu Dhabi Police departments and a number of senior police officers.
The recently- launched charter defines customers commitments and duties towards the employees of theses organization. It also determines quality service standards which customers can expect, and establishes open and transparent approach which all parties can understand and act according to it.
Commitments of the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police GHQ with their customers have been defined so that they meet their model expectations, he pointed out.
Customers in turn have duties and commitments during service provision in order for the departments to be able to deliver the required service in the manner that exceeds their expectations. This, however, requires that customers cooperate with the employees, indicated Al Kaabi.
He affirmed that the Ministry of Interior is keen on adopting all the articles of the Charter, and on communicating with customers and employees both alike.
He indicated that all employees will be trained on the customers Charter and workshops will be conducted in this respect. Furthermore, a media plan will be prepared and the Charter will be published across all organizational units and at the entries and exits of all customer services centers. It will also be published on the Abu Dhabi Police website.
The level of police services in UAE ranked fourth globally, but the Ministry of Interior and police agencies are seeking to get more advanced positions, he said, noting that the identity card will the source of information for those to whom services are delivered.
He concluded the lecture by answering the enquiries from the audience about the customers Charter.
