Education Zones circulate "Abu Dhabi Traffic" and "Saaed" Competition to schools

Education Zones in the country have agreed to include the Grand International Artistic Traffic Competition within drawing classes at their schools. The Competition has been launched by ADP Directorate of Traffic and Patrols and Saaed for Traffic Systems, in order to encourage participants to show their creativities and talents in drawings and to express their views about traffic problems. 

Educational Departments, Zones and Offices have circulated the Competition, at the country level, to all public and private educational institutions, for as biggest participation by students as possible, with a view to make use of their artistic creations in enhancing traffic safety.

Colonel (Engineer) Hussain Ahmed Al Harthi, Director of Traffic and patrols and Chairman of Saaed Company Board of Directors lauded the keenness of Education Zones at the country level to include the artistic competition within their educational classes.

He thanked those in charge of Education Zones for their interest and cooperation, as the aim of the competition is to reduce traffic accidents on roads. Traffic awareness and culture at this age will assist in creating a classy community, which all its members will lead a safe life.

Al Harthi hopes that the Emirates community will be free of traffic accidents risks, which have become a nightmare for all community members. Traffic accidents are one of the most important problems which deplete financial resources, human energy and targets the most important elements of life, in addition to their social and psychological problems.  

The competition is the first of its type at the world level. It is accepted by Guinness World Record and it targets all community segments and enhances traffic safety levels. The Competition, which has been announced recently in Medias, targets best drawings in caricature, paintings and posters except engravings, continues attracting drawings from all over the world.

Mohammad Salim Al Dhahri, CEO of Schools Sector in Abu Dhabi Education Council has lauded the Competition and its circulation to all schools under the Council. He urges students to participate in the Competition and urges those concerned to provide them with all necessary items and tools for the Competition. Thus the Competition can break the world record.

The Competition has received distinguished attention from Dubai Education Zone and it has in turn circulated it to its schools, to ensure achievement of the general objective of the Competition, in addition to discovering talents and developing them.

Ahmed Salim Al Mansouri, Director of Sharjah Educational Office said "His Office circulated the Competition right on the spot, especially its aim was to educate people on traffic safety and the safety of all road users. Such constructive ideas instill commitment in students' minds".

In the same context Ajman Education Zone has urged the schools under its administration to encourage their students to participate in the Competition and to express their views about traffic accident problems and suitable solutions, in their drawings.

Ras Al Khaimah Educational Zone, in a statement, has expressed its interest in traffic safety and has circulated the Competition to all schools for boys and girls to participate in ity. It has urged teachers to encourage their students to contribute and to ensure traffic safety rules and adherence to them. It has also urged schools to provide places for the students to compete through their paint
