Al Shaafar: Excellence according
to best practices is on top of government priorities

 

Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Shaafar, MoI Undersecretary opened on Tuesday the three-day Conference of Customer Service Week, at Rotana Park Hotel, Abu Dhabi. 250 agencies participate in the Conference. It is organized by Ethos Consultancy Company. Robert Kai, Executive Chairman of Ethos Company, Philip Forest, Chairman of International Institute for Customer Service, Lt. Colonel Nasser Khadim al Kaabi, Director of Customer Service were present during the ceremony. 250 agencies participate in the Conference.

The Conference aims to raise customer service standards through awareness and education, in accordance with world best practices.

In his opening speech to the Conference Al Shaafar extended the greetings of HH Lt. General; Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and Minister of Interior, as an important event held in the UAE to review local and world best practices in finding strategic solutions for customer service.

"Excellence in customer service, in accordance with best services, is one of government and private agencies priorities, in order to boost the public and customers trust in these agencies", added Al Shaafar.

"MoI in its strategic plan is keen to keep pace with global developments to reach the highest standards in customer service areas, by use of best advanced technologies to achieve the desired aims and to gain customers trust, in accordance with a clear strategy to become more operationally effective in of the fastest developing country in the world. We will always focus on high principles and values through our leadership vision which follows up the efforts of development in all performance aspects. We seek to enhance continuous cooperation and coordination with advanced countries to follow up and exchange information about the best practices of customer service", added Al Shaafar.

Al Shaafar hoped that the Conference together with its workshops will achieve the goals. He affirmed the importance of cooperation between police and security agencies to boost the standard of services delivered to the citizens and residents within one goal which is the security and prosperity of this country.

Then Lt. General Al Shaafar toured the section of the exhibition which is organized on the side lines of the Conference. A number of public and private agencies participate in it. It include a number of awareness brochures, publications and posters.

Then the session of the Conference started with the discussion of issues regarding the quality of services. The activities include four workshops in which global figures from UK and Canada will participate.
