ADP and SKMC to launch campaign to detect chronic diseases
Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) and Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), in coincidence with the World Heart Day, will launch a field medical campaign. The aim of the campaign is the early detection of chronic diseases.
According to Major general Nasser Ahmed Al Risi, Director General of Central Operations, a delegation from ADP Ambulance and Rescue Section at the Emergency and Public Safety Department discussed with SKMC technical mechanisms to make a success of the campaign.
The campaign will also include awareness programmes, such as eating habits, sports activities and other relevant information. People must also make regular periodical checks for their BP and Blood Sugar.
