the joint objectives of the government
Ministry of Interior and ADP GHQ concerned authorities have intensified specialized workshops on strategy priorities and performance indicators regarding the strategic plan of Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector, within the framework of MoI comprehensive development programme implementation.
ADP GHQ Department of Strategy and Performance Development has organized a workshop on the implementation of Abu Dhabi Government goals at Al Bahar Fermont Hotel.
The workshop was opened by Lt. Colonel Fayssal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director of Strategy and Performance Development affirming that it was within the joint interest between the local institutions and departments, in exchanging knowledge and enhancing partnerships, in order to achieve Abu Dhabi Government vision and aspirations.
The workshop started with an explanation about the top strategic priorities of ADP, including: crime prevention, ideal use of resources, efficiently and effectively run police organization, safety and security of Abu Dhabi Emirate, community trust and making roads more safe.
Then the workshop discussed partnership work framework to achieve the joint goals of Abu Dhabi Government and to achieve the goal of developing ADP GHQ effective partnerships. The workshop dealt with the standards proposed by the Secretariat General of the Executive Council to achieve ADP objective of creating a safe community with high degree of safety, security and reassurance.
Then they discussed the leading agencies and the role of each in achieving the objective: Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs, Abu Dhabi Education Council, Health Authority – Abu Dhabi, Family Development Foundation, Judicial Department, Municiplal Affairs Department, Finance Department, Environment Authority, Financial Development Department, Department of Transport, Critical National Infrastructure Authority and other government authorities to enhance cooperation and coordination with contributing agencies. Reports on work progress should submitted, performance should be analyzed, in addition to sharing decision making process, allocating resources and providing data.
All sub-teams work mechanism and existing initiatives were discussed. The workshop was concluded with the presentation of the proposed model of partnership in ADP GHQ.
The workshop was characterized by interaction between the audience. The participants thanked the working team at the Department of Strategy and Performance Development for the warm welcome and good organization. They lauded ADP getting Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance.
Performance Indicators
The Central Strategy and Performance Development Section at the Office of MoI Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, has organized recently a workshop on performance indicators regarding the strategic plan of naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector (2011 – 2013) at the Police Officers' Club, in Abu Dhabi.
Lt. Colonel Mohammad Humood al Nabahani, Head of Central Strategy and Performance Development Section reviewed the road map for all performance indicators which should be achieved during the strategic plan (2011 – 2013), in order to build the basic foundation for organizational structur
