Investigation finds Negligence caused Mussafah fire
Investigation conducted about the cause of fire that gutted two chemical ware houses in Mussafah industrial area had shown that utter negligence and non compliance with safety measures were the cause of fire.
The fire started when one of the welders was welding a barrel containing chemicals, a spark flew to the barrel contained chemical causing the fire which then got extended to other barrels and then to the whole ware house.
Lt.Col.Sheikh Mohammed Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, director of the peripheral areas praised the efforts of the civil defence, air wing, armed forces, local authorities and rapid action teams that brought the fire under control with out causing any loss of life
