Abu Dhabi Sports Council reviews ADP efforts for Government Excellence Award
Brigadier Jasim Mohammad Al Marzouqi, Deputy Director General of Human Resources and Deputy Leader of Quality and Excellence Team at ADP, has received a delegation from Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Headed by Fadhil Khaleel Al Mansouri, Director of Quality Sports Department. The delegation has reviewed ADP trip, model and implementation mechanism that led to winning four categories in the Second Round of Abu Dhabi Award for Excellent Government Performance.
Colonel Mohammad bin Dalmooj Al Dhahri, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development at ADP has welcomed the visiting delegation. He has confirmed that the requirement of excellence concept was clear to us from the first steps where ADP started making its plan to win the Award, in response to our Leadership directives. The steps were implemented according to methodological steps and effective work mechanisms.
Lt. Sameeha Al Zidjali explained ADP trip to Abu Dhabi Excellence Award and mentioned the change process since 2003 with the launch of the First Strategic Plan, following developments, ADP GHQ Organizational Structure, Department of Strategy and Performance Development Structure, its tasks and duties, Working Teams efforts in implementing global standards of quality and ADP implementation of Institutional Excellence standards.
The presentation focused on ADP interest in comprehensive development project and achievement of Higher Leadership vision, which resulted in the launch of Abu Dhabi Emirate Strategic Plan.
At the end of the visit, Brigadier Al Marzouqi presented a commemorative shield to the visiting delegation. Members of the delegation lauded the distinguished performance of ADP, confirming the importance of visits exchange to achieve more cooperation and to make use of experiences.
The meeting was attended by the members of ADP Excellence and Quality Team comprising Lt. Colonel Rashid Thani Al Dhahri, Major Ahmed Mohammad Bu Haroon, 1st Lt. Rashid Al Dosari, Saeed Al Marzouqi and Iyhab Naji. From Abu Dhabi Sports Council there were, Rami Al Saloom, Amna Al Suwaidi and Aabeer Al Marzouqi.
