A delegation from the Pension Fund of Abu Dhabi reviewed the awards and incentives system for distinguished staff of the Abu Dhabi Police, in addition to the system of suggestions in the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.
Major Mohammad Hasan Al Baloushi, Head of Functional Incentives Division at the General Department of Human Resources explained the functionality of these systems to the visiting delegation. He stressed the commitment of the police leadership to show appreciation for the efforts of its staff through incentives programs and systems. This is in line with the strategy of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters in terms of optimizing human resources and leveraging its capabilities.
He gave a presentation on the systems and programs adopted by the Abu Dhabi Police that include H.H. Minister of Interior Award for Excellence, its different areas, and its terms and conditions. He also explained the system of badges of honor and medals, the Perfect Employee Award, the Distinguished Student Award, the Distinguished Students at Training Courses, and the Awarding System.
He said that these incentives, awards and programs encourage the Police Staff to be creative and distinguished in order to reach the highest levels of performance.
First Lieutenant Sultan Al Dhahiri, Director of Creative Department at the General Department of Human Resources gave a presentation on the Creativity Award, its areas, terms, and evaluation criteria. He stressed that the award aims to encourage the police staff to present their creative ideas in a manner that develops the work.
The Pension Fund delegation expressed its thanks to the Abu Dhabi General Headquarters for the review on the incentive and suggestion systems. He noted that it would benefit from the Abu Dhabi Police experience in developing systems of rewarding employees and suggestion systems adopted at the Fund.
