Abu Dhabi Police seeks safety and fire fighting studies at British universities
Major Omar Saeed Al Dhaheri, chief of training section headed lately a delegation from Education Department and Emergency and Pubic Safety Department to a visit to the UK.
The aim of the visit was to arrange for bachelor degree for Abu Dhabi Police students who successfully completed Diploma program in Fire Fighting and Safety at Justice Institute, Canada.
The delegation met with Judith Burnett, Dean of the School of Law, Social Sciences and Communications who briefed the delegation about the bachelor program available at the School. The dean welcomed admission of the Abu Dhabi Police students.
The delegation also met Margaret Gibbons, director of Work-Based Learning at the Leeds University Business School. Both sides discussed the possibility of providing relevant studies for the Abu Dhabi Police students.
The two sides exchanged souvenirs at the end of the meeting and praised the mutual cooperation.
