A delegation of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ was briefed on the nature of work and duties of the Boston Police during its current visit to the United States.
Daniel Linskey, Superintendent-In-Chief of the Boston Police Department, met the UAE delegation led by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations. At the Boston Police Department headquarters, both parties discussed a number of policing and security topics, and means of strengthening mutual cooperation especially in the areas of operations and training.
Major General Al Raisi extended a formal invitation to Daniel Linskey to attend the Emergency Medicine Conference, which is organized by the Directorate General of Central Operations in cooperation with the Department of Emergency Medicine at Harvard University in Abu Dhabi. The conference is set to take place in December this year.
In turn, the Boston Police Superintendent-in-Chief invited the emergency, search and rescue teams of the Abu Dhabi Police to participate in emergency exercises taking place in California.
The Superintendent -in-Chief of the Boston Police reviewed the policing and security efforts in general, especially the role of coordination and cooperation in distributing police tasks, attending to personnel needs, enhancing security, and protecting community members and health services in coordination with concerned authorities. Furthermore, he underscored the importance of training and the attention devoted to rescue teams and ambulance crews.
At the end of the meeting, Major General Al Raisi and the Boston Police Superintendent-in-Chief exchanged commemorative shields.
