Under the patronage of Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, the Ramadan Council’s activities will kick off next Sunday, at 10 pm, in Abu Dhabi in front of the Capital Police Department Headquarters. The council, organized by the Law Respect Culture Bureau, at the Secretariat General of the Office of H.H t, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, in collaboration with the General Department of Finance and Support Services, and the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior. The council will tackle legal issues of social nature.

Lieutenant colonel Salah Al-Obaid Al-Ghoul, Director of the Law Respect Culture Bureau emphasized that the idea behind the Ramadan Council proves the keenness of the Bureau to spread the legal culture among community members and instill the concept of the Law Respect Culture in them.

“The nature of the Holy Month and the religious and traditional character of the occasion, as well as the keenness of individuals to attend Ramadan councils encouraged us to organize these meetings and forums that will tackle legal subjects of social nature, stressing the importance of increasing legal awareness among individuals”, he added.

The Ramadan Council coincides with the Ramadan awareness initiative carried out by the Security Media Department at the Secretariat General of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, as part of the media campaign that includes a number of security and community awareness initiatives, under the slogan ‘Your Safety’”.
