The Abu Dhabi Police had 13 members from the Central Operations of the General Directorate trained in the Quality Assessment field through the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model and the British Quality Foundation (BQF).

During the graduation ceremony of the police members, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police’s Central Operations, confirmed that the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters is committed to developing self-assessment systems used for personal cadres, referring to the support of all training programs that qualify these cadres. The aim is to promote procedures to improve the level of services and raise the efficiency of departments towards excellence as well as to participate in local and federal awards.

Thirteen members from the Central Operations participated in the self-assessment session, where they were introduced to the concept of excellence, how to self-assess excellence degrees, apply the excellence degree methodology (RADAR), apply the optimization methodology, and use the excellence matrix to prepare a possibilities map for future successes.

The session also included applications in using the excellence model to generate positive change, and reading and benefitting from nomination documents and evaluation reports in order to generate better, more effective initiatives within the priorities system.

Al Raisi presented the certificates to the graduates, in the presence of Captain Nasser Abdullah Al Saadi, Training Liaison Officer in the Central Operations General Directorate.
