In a ceremony held under the patronage of Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, H.E. Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Shafar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior has honored a number of retired officers in the ministry. The ceremony was held in the presence of Brigadier General Mohammad Saleh Badah Al Awadi, Interim Director of Public Relations Directorate and a number of officers.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior addressed the retired officers conveying the greetings of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior who wished them a successful life.
He added that retirement is not the end of a journey, but the beginning of a new permanent phase to serve our country for which sacrifices have been made. He hailed the sincere efforts exerted by the retired officers, their dedicated work, and their extraordinary competence during their years of service. He also stated that their years of service are marked by their efficient and effective perseverance and performance of the tasks entrusted to them.
“Through your efforts and dedication, you have contributed to constructing the higher status of this significant security organization that praises your enduring efforts,” he continued, “Your work and your efforts will remain in the memory of the police generations that carry the banner, and will continue the security work process in the Ministry of Interior.”
At the end of the ceremony, H.E. Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Shafar has offered certificates of appreciation and gifts for the retired officers.
