The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ in cooperation with the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) organized on Wednesday evening a Paperless Day Campaign to promote environmental safety.
The campaign enhances the Abu Dhabi Police keen interest to exchange knowledge and boost partnership with other institutions and local departments, thereby realizing the vision and aspirations of the government of Abu Dhabi, said director general of strategy and performance development at the ministry of interior, Colonel Mohammed Dalmouj Al Dhaheri.
He pointed out that Abu Dhabi Police has remarkably reduced the consumption of paper and all of its workplaces have changed into environmentally friendly premises. Abu Dhabi Police is committed to reducing adverse effects on the environment within its operations and to being pioneers in applying the best sustainable environmental practices in light with the laws of the environment, occupational health and safety, he further indicated.
