Major General Al Awadhi: Advance and best practices to serve the public
Major General Mohammad bin Al Awadhi, Acting Director General of Policing Operations has described the participation of the public and private sectors institutions in the Capital Police Directorate Ramadan Forum Tent (CPDRFT) as honorable.
The forums organized by ADP GHQ in cooperation with the civil society institutions, represents one of strategies aiming to implement best practices and applications in distinguished services to the public.
Al Awadhi visited CPDRFT organized by the CPD in collaboration with Al Hilal Bank (Exclusive Sponsor) and a number of Public and Private Institutions and departments. He expressed his admiration of what he had seen inside the tent, where he said "The exhibits and shows reflect the partnership between the police and the society and a translation of our Leadership directives".
He also visited the folk market of women hand works sponsored by the General Women Union. He reviewed their achievements and works and lauded the Emirati women’s efforts.
At the end of his visit he appreciated the CPD and its key partners' efforts in organizing the event. He wished them every success in future similar events.
He was accompanied during his tour by Colonel Jasim Al Marzouqi, Deputy Director General of Human resources at ADP, Colonel Abdul Hakeem Saeed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of the Capital Police Directorate for Stations Affairs, Colonel Salim Ali Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of the CPD for Administrative and Financial Affairs and a number of officers and officials.
The Forum continued its programmes for the fourth consecutive evening. ADP Medical Services delivered a lecture titled "Health in Ramadan", delivered by Dr. Safa Biburse. She talked about chronic diseases and how to deal with them.
Lt. Colonel (Dr.) Saleh Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Office at the Secretariat general of the Office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior delivered an introductory lecture about "The Office of Law Respect Culture". He explained "that the Office work mechanism depends on enhancing law and public order respect culture among the community according to strategic vision based on dissemination of awareness and respect of law".
Events included a competition by Zakat Fund and a number of patriotic poems delivered by a number of distinguished poets.
