A delegation from the French civil defense, headed by commander of fire squad in Paris, has earlier paid a visit to the Victims Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Police to learn about the tasks of the Office.
The delegation was received by Captain. Jumaa Saeed, acting director of the Office, and 1st Lt. Nasser Abdullah Al Saaedi, head of training branch who gave extensive presentation on the tasks of the Office during major incidents, natural and man-made disasters.
He also briefed the delegation on the various units of the Office, which includes: communication center unit, information gathering unit, match unit, SMS and enquiry unit.
The delegation toured the Office and communication center and was briefed on the mechanism of taking calls via the technical system of the Office which is one of the most modern offices in the Middle East.
The head of French delegation lauded the mechanism of work at the Office and the methods used for victims’ identification.
He extended invitation to visit France to share expertise and training and to get acquainted with the methods of victims’ identification during major incidents.
