The Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department rescued six people in different incidents in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, including injured people and patients that were transported to hospitals to resume medical care after receiving first aid. The Air Wing ambulance aircraft transferred an Emirati man, 56-year old and an Emirati woman 48-year old from Al Sila’ Hospital to Zayed Military Hospital after they suffered ‘simple’ and severe injuries due to a traffic accident that took place in Al Sila’ area.

The ambulance aircraft also transported a 14-year old Arab child from Al Sila’ Hospital to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. The child suffered a severe injury after a car accident. In another incident, the Air Wing provided necessary medical care to a 51-year old Arab man who suffered a heart attack; he was transported from Delma Island to Al Mafraq Hospital.

The Air Wing ambulance aircraft also transported a 39-year old Asian worker from Al Sila’ hospital to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain; the worker had an accident after a solid object fell on him, hitting his head and neck. Furthermore, the Air Wing transported a 52-year old Asian man from Delma Island Hospital to Al Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi after he suffered a heart attack.

Reports on the incidents were received from the central operations, and immediately following the report, the Air Wing ambulance aircraft took off to provide necessary first aid, medical care and transportation to hospitals.
