The U.A.E. participated in the preparatory meeting of the GCC Ministry of Interior Undersecretaries held on Monday in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting aims to prepare for the 14th consultative meeting of GCC Interior Ministries Undersecretaries to be held tomorrow “Tuesday” in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The UAE delegation to the meeting was led by H.E Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior. The participants discussed the various topics included on the agenda, which aim to enhance cooperation and coordination among Member States in various security fields of mutual interest. The meeting also shed light on security developments, and the recommendations adopted by the security committees, in line with the security cooperation and coordination among GCC countries. The participants will adopt the appropriate recommendations that will be submitted to the next GCC Interior Ministers Meeting.
The accompanying delegation included Major General Khamis Matar Al Muzainah, Deputy Commandant General of The Dubai Police; Major General Khamis Saif bin Suwaif Director General of Criminal Security; as well as a number of officers at the Ministry of Interior.
