Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs presented to Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Ali bin Wadeema Al Ameri, Acting Director General of Resources and Support Services the Japanese Continuous Improvement Method (Kaizen) Certification in recognition of the achievements made by all the sections at the Human Resources Department. It is worth mentioning that the certification was awarded to the directorate general by the Japanese Makoto Consultancy Center, in cooperation with the Kaizen Training and Events Centre in Abu Dhabi.

Major General Al Khaili stressed that the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector has earned several certificates in 2013 both on the local and federal levels. “These certificates have prompted us to launch a self-assessment initiative with a view to identify strengths and improvement opportunities and elaborate plans to handle these issues,” explained Major General Al Khaili. Moreover, he pointed out that special teams have been formed to work on enhancing the sector’s performance related to the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award.

For his part, Colonel Abdullah Abdurrahman bin Sultan, Head of Strategy and Performance Development noted that the Sector strives to achieve excellence and higher levels of job satisfaction, and customer satisfaction. “These goals will be achieved within a plan aimed at securing the highest levels of excellence and quality levels,” indicated Colonel Abdurrahman; pointing out that the sector is on his way to making further achievements in the future.
